Traditional weight loss boot camps are all about strict diet and a ferocious exercise routine. And they work! Of course the regimental style of boot camps result in fat loss and muscle tone, but just as obviously, it is almost impossible to stick to such a hard-core diet and workout programme when you return home and back to your everyday life. Without the hard limits of the boot camp surrounding you, you will naturally slip back into old habits and watch the weight creep back on.

We practice the proven Mind + Body formula to help our visitors achieve levels of health, wellbeing and energy that they feel they are lacking in their lives. We do not believe in fad diets or the latest “super food”, instead we focus on helping our guests learn about their own health and wellbeing so that they can figure out for themselves how best to lead a happy and healthy lifestyle.
Based in the breath-taking scenery of North Devon, we are just 15 minutes’ walk from the Atlantic Ocean. Our retreat is right in the heart of some of the most fantastic scenery in the whole of the UK; the perfect setting for you to get away from it all and focus your mind and spirit to benefit your health.
Our health retreats run over 5 days, from Wednesday to Sunday, and are renowned for doing much more for the mind and body than a simple spa retreat. We call it the Yeotox and it is much more than a simple fit camp or weight loss weekend. We believe that in order for you to improve your health and wellbeing, you need to learn more about yourself. We will teach you how to make healthier choices in your life so that when you go home you can continue to make these choices with ease. Instead of the quick fix weight loss camps and their short-term results, our programme will help you recognise the best choices to make for a healthier you in the long-term.
That’s not to say you won’t work hard at Yeotown! Our excellent team of mavens will motivate and inspire you to give your all and really push yourself. But this is not a one-size-fits-all exercise treadmill. We pride ourselves in tailoring our activities and fitness sessions to the needs of every individual. Every week we welcome guests of all abilities and fitness levels, from pro athletes and olympians to burnt out business men and women who need to get back on track. Our aim is not to have our guests limp out a couple of pounds lighter but rather to leave us with a renewed sense of vitality and a deeper passion and understanding of their own wellbeing.

Our Yeotox retreat is both physically and mentally challenging in a way which supports your emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing. After just a few days with us, you will begin to feel much calmer and clearer and rejuvenated. Our Yeotox combines a balanced and natural diet with the chance to reconnect with nature. Come rain or shine, our programme will always include an outdoor element to make the most of our fantastic setting. Whether it is cycling the nature strewn paths, coastal hiking or taking a stroll in the surf at sunset; nature plays a big part in our approach at Yeotown.
During your time with us at Yeotown, we will give you all the tools you need in order to guarantee a healthier and happier you. We will teach you meditation and yoga to help you calm your mind and focus on your wellbeing. We include cookery classes to educate on making healthy food choices and to give you more information about the foods you are putting into your body. Unlike a boot camp, we believe knowledge is the key to health and wellbeing. The more you know about yourself and your body, the more likely you are to be able to continue the work you start with us when you return home.
Our retreat aims to make you feel more energised, empowered and in control. The focus is not on weight loss but about changing your mind set to encourage a healthier wellbeing; emotionally, physically and spiritually.
